ABOUT US

SURVIVE IN BUSINESS

Survive in Business has been spawned from more than 30 years experience advising, managing, financing

and mentoring businesses in a wide variety of industries

In that time we have learned that the principles, practices and process of managing a successful business are the same, no matter what business you are in, or where you are. Similarly, the things that cause businesses to fail are largely common. Businesses look different on the outside but the same rules of success and failure apply to all businesses across all industries and geographies.

Our goal is to contribute to the success of your business by becoming a trusted source of information, guidance and advice.

Given the huge number of businesses across the world that have been adversely impacted by the COVID 19, the emerging threat of persistent inflation, rising interest rates, and emerging geopolitical tensions we have decided to start our journey by focussing on businesses experiencing financial stress. Right now, they have the greatest need. The scope of our support and services will be expanded as we go forward.

We aim to provide support to your business in a form that is accessible, relevant, easy to understand, and affordable. Our services are primarily delivered remotely through our digital platform and digital communications. This allows us to deliver our services quickly and at a low cost.

Our expanding range of free and inexpensive articles and books can be accessed via our Publications tab. We also offer personalised advice as well as a blog where you will find comments from us and others that may assist you, and where you can add your thoughts and comments.

WHY "SURVIVE IN BUSINESS"?

In more than 30 years working in and around distressed and failing businesses I have learned that most business failures can be avoided with timely and decisive action. For managers of businesses with financial problems it is often difficult to know what to do or where to turn for help.

Steve Lloyd

That's why I wrote the book and that's why Survive in Business exists...to help you navigate your business through these difficult times, build resilience and set it up for a strong and successful future.

What people say about working with Steve

“I recall a long phone conversation between us where I became somewhat frustrated with the delays I was experiencing which were out of my control.

You just listened. When I finished, you cut to the chase and in a couple of sentences you proposed the perfect solution which has now come to its conclusion."

Robert S (Managing director)

“We are on target to meet our “survive revive budget” in fact around a million ahead right now. Jan Feb March will also deliver on budget with current level of sales in WIP. So I’m planning a sigh of relief over Xmas.

This mail was not about work but to yet again thank you for your support and more importantly guidance via your no shit dialogue. One of your very stern comments said it all, forcing a mental review of my outlook on an array of “stuff”. The review proving positive to date. Thanks for the kick in the bum.”

Rod S (CEO)

“I appreciate your frankness and clarity of understanding of the issues”
